ABOUT JEAN
▒ So you ! project ▒
Yi Jun, in Taiwan, is commonly known as a “market-style name.”
Because of its pronunciation, it is often used in naming culture to symbolize a name for the general public. My mother once said that these characters were given by the Third Prince. I believe it also represents “Yi Jun” as a word full of love and happiness, giving people a sense of warmth, security, and recognition.
Whether it’s a neatly organized collection, mountains of piled-up treasures, or objects that reflect raw, unrestrained personality, visiting these boutique and collectible stores brings an indescribable thrill—an excitement that dances in your stomach and nerves even before you enter.
This unique space aims to bring that joy to everyone. It also stems from something people around me often say:
“Hey! That’s so you!”
“You really can find this kind of thing here!”
Through this project, I hope everyone can believe that they are surrounded by love and care, and that each person can discover objects that feel truly “them.”

Since 2017, Jean has been pursuing pure artistic creation in Germany.
Driven by the necessities of life, she naturally developed a curiosity for transforming recycled materials into art.
She enjoys taking objects that others see as “trash” and reinterpreting them for reuse.
Over the years, she has worked with materials such as meat trays, avocado skins, tea leaves, magnetic powders, tree bark, and other natural elements.
Eggshells quickly became one of the most abundant materials she collected daily in student kitchens,
and gradually became an essential and intuitive medium in Jean’s creations.
These eggshells are not discarded waste.
They start broken, then are carefully reassembled, polished, and colored —
like finding tiny sparks of light in everyday life.
Every piece has a different shape, and every pair is truly unique,
just as we are all inherently different and need not be duplicated.
Eggshell jewelry is wearable miniature art,
whether as earrings or as a gentle sentiment you want to keep in your daily life.
They are light, yet carry weight; fragile to the eye, yet stronger than they appear.
All eggshells undergo thorough cleaning and hardening, then are hand-colored and sealed for protection.
Colors, textures, and shapes are impossible to replicate, created naturally over time alongside their materials.
